International judging team for the award "Hamdan – UNESCO " It holds its preliminary meeting

Dubai, March 19 / WAM / The international judging team for the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum / UNESCO Award for the Development of Teacher Performance today held its preliminary meeting in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences.
The meeting discussed the procedures for individual arbitrations with the arbitrators, which will begin in the first phase remotely in the coming period, with the second phase being in person next May at UNESCO.
Khalifa Al Suwaidi confirmed that participation in the international award witnessed a growth of 66% compared to the previous session after UNESCO received 169 applications from 62 countries, an increase of 66%, explaining that this turnout reflects the positive imprint of the award on the performance of teachers and the spread of its impact in the targeted regions around the world.
He praised the successful and ongoing partnership with UNESCO and its role in the success of this qualitative initiative that supports teachers and elevates their practices to heights of quality and excellence.
According to the award agenda, the results will be approved on October 5 by the Director-General of UNESCO in Paris, and the names of the winners will be announced later at the honoring ceremony.
