The Cultural Complex hosts the Maitha Abdullah exhibition until August 30

Abu Dhabi, May 26 / WAM / The Cultural Complex of the Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi sheds light on local talents through the exhibition “Maitha Abdullah: Between Tamulus and Reality”, the continuous individual exhibition of Emirati artist Maitha Abdullah, multi-disciplinary, which continues until August 30 to display the experience of a world in which imagination is mixed with reality.

And through a captivating mix of drawing and sculpture, Maitha Abdullah explores the artistic depth of folklore, legend, psychology and social structures to create works that move between abstraction and embodiment to shed light on the strength and ability of art to stimulate and generate dialogue, inspiration for self -meditation and consolidating cultural ties within society.

In her artistic works, Mitha Abdullah mixes the various disciplines and integrates its works smoothly between the film, photography, sculpture, drawing and performance, and its artistic practices are also inspired by the performance of the theater, using its compound nature to explore the topics of folklore and social adaptation.

A technical dialogue session (in English) will be held with the participation of Maitha Abdullah, which is known by the artistic value, Munira Al -Sayegh (the Derwazah Experimental Foundation Foundation for Arts) on May 28 to deal with her business journey and artistic career.
