Dubai, May 26 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, confirmed that the Emirate of Dubai continues to strengthen its pioneering position as a global center for the future economy, by consolidating a supportive environment for innovation and talent empowerment, attracting investments and enhancing the digital economy based on knowledge and sustainability, in line with the targets of Dubai Economic Agenda D33, aimed at making Dubai one of the three best Economic cities in the world during the next decade.
This came during the presence of His Highness the launch of the “Schneider Electric” company, the world leader in the field of digital transformation of energy management and automation, is a new initiative of 100 million dirhams to support talent empowerment in the UAE, in conjunction with the official opening of the new Schneider Electric headquarters; The Nest in Dubai, the first of its kind within the global program for the Impact influential buildings, in the Dubai Silicon Oasis, the economic area specialized in knowledge and innovation and under the umbrella of the Dubai Authority for Integrated Economic Zones.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was accompanied by the launch of the initiative and the inauguration of the new smart headquarters of Hneider Electric, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al -Zarouni, CEO of the Dubai Authority for Integrated Economic Zones, and Olivier Bloom, CEO of “Schneider Electric”, Walid Sheta, President of Schneider Electric in the Middle East and Africa, Amal Al -Shazly, President of Shenider Company Electric in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries region.
The new smart headquarters “The Nest” extends over an area of 10,000 square feet, and is considered a fundamental strategic investment in the future of the sustainable economy in the UAE, as it is a center for innovation, cooperation, progress and excellence.
The Schneider Electric company aims to provide the next generation of talents in the UAE with the skills, tools and expertise necessary for leadership in the new era, as the company will focus on promoting education in the field of sustainability, modernizing engineering laboratories using the latest energy and automation technologies, and providing practical educational opportunities through organized guidelines and applied research, and through strategic partnerships with leading universities, and various sectors partners.
