The start of the first session of the Gaza International Festival for Women’s Cinema next October

The founder and head of the Gaza International Festival for Women’s Cinema, Dr. Ezzeddine Shallah, announced the start of preparations for the start of the festival’s first session in partnership with the Palestinian Ministry of Culture, represented by His Excellency Minister Imad Hamdan, and in cooperation with the idea of educational arts and a number of Arab and foreign founders, which will be launched in Gaza City on October 26-26, 2025, which falls on the National Day for Palestinian Women.

Minister Hamdan expressed the importance of establishing a special festival for Palestinian women, especially since women live in the banks of the homeland, painful abnormal conditions, not to mention the circumstances of Gaza from genocide, as there are women who lost their children and some of them who lost the head of the family to the breadwinner of their children and each has a story that is narrated, stories that are deeply narrated about the human and historical injustice of the Palestinian woman. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;

Minister Hamdan added that the Gaza International Festival comes to contribute to cultural and artistic exchange, and to deal with women’s issues in general, especially Palestinian women, and the festival will contribute to women’s cinematic ability to confront life, and to raise their issues through films that reflect their reality, and raise cases of awareness in society of women’s issues, and document Palestinian narrative cases, to be a witness in international forums for occupation crimes.

In turn, Dr. Ezzeddine Shallah, the founder and president of the festival, stated that we work to prepare for the first session of the festival in a clear challenge to hunger and death to prove that our will is stronger than all the extermination against our people and that we are here remaining life despite hunger and death, and we have chosen to hold the first session under the slogan & quot; Magdat women at the time of extermination & quot; to compete for & quot; Golden Orange Awards & quot;, and that the adoption of the festival’s date of start annually on October 26, in appreciation of the role of Palestinian women, which held the first Palestinian women’s conference in Jerusalem in 1929 in the presence of more than 300 women, and raised in the same year 9 martyrs, and thus this date witnessed the beginning of the actual participation of Palestinian women organizing in the work Political. & Nbsp;
