Al -Haramain Express Train carries 140 flights per day to transport more than two million pilgrims
Saudi Iron Airways Company & quot; Saar & quot; Implementing its operational plan for the Hajj season (1446) AH, through an advanced operating system based on the Al -Haramain High Train, which is one of the fastest trains in the world at a speed of (300) km/h.
& nbsp; More (4,700) scheduled flights during the season, which provided more than two million seats to the guests of Rahman, an increase exceeding (400) thousand seats compared to the last season, as part of its endeavor to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey and enrich their experience.
& nbsp; The economic in the Kingdom, through an electric railway with a length of 453 km, passes five main stations that include Makkah Al -Mukarramah, Jeddah (the central station), King Abdulaziz International Airport, King Abdullah Economic City, and Medina.
& nbsp; The movement directly between planes and the train without leaving the airport, in a way that enhances the link between air transport and iron transport.

& nbsp; (140) Journey at peak times, indicating that the train arrives at the Makkah Al -Mukarramah station at the rate of a trip every (25) minutes, which enhances the flow of the promotion and reduces pressure on the wild roads.

It works with electrical energy without carbon emissions, which makes it a clean transportation project that supports the goals of sustainability in the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, and contributes to reducing pressure on roads and interior airports, and enhances the efficiency of tourism, religious and economic cities. In cooperation with a number of relevant authorities, an initiative & quot; Hajj without a bag & quot; For the second year in a row, which aims to facilitate the transfer of the pilgrim from his country to his residence in Makkah Al -Mukarramah, where the pilgrim’s luggage is transferred directly from his country airport to his residence, while he is transferred through the Two Holy Mosques train after his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, without the need to carry luggage or move between multiple transportation.
