Mohammed bin Rashid receives Al -Ahly youth team and congratulates them by winning several championships this season

Dubai, May 29/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God preserve him”, stressed that the UAE has put the sports sector at the heart of its development vision as one of the vital sectors that contribute to human building and enhance the state’s position on the international scene, indicating that His Highness is that the continuous support that the sports sector enjoys comes as a translation of a firm belief that sport is not just competing within the stadiums, but rather it is The field of the role model, the consolidation of values, and the formation of a confident, ambition and able generation.
This came during the reception of His Highness the players of the Al -Ahly youth team, the administrative and technical bodies and a number of the families and families of the players in the Zabeel Palace in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the first deputy governor of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the second deputy governor of Dubai, on the occasion of the Al -Ahly youth team winning four championships during the sports season 2024-2025.
His Highness congratulated the members of the club’s board of directors, the technical and administrative bodies, and the team players, for their achievements, praising the honorable performance that the team presented throughout the season, and on the high sportsmanship that the players embraced, which was a key factor in winning titles.
His Highness said: “Sports in the UAE is not a luxury … but a pillar of our society … and we will continue to support clubs and athletes and provide everything that they need to manufacture heroes competing with confidence on the highest platforms … We want a sport worthy of the UAE’s ambition and befitting its youth … and we want our clubs to be schools to graduate the heroes in performance, in morals, and in believing in our ability to achieve the impossible.”
Addressing the players, His Highness added: “With your efforts, your determination, your insistence, and the spirit of the one team, the victory was from your share … reaching the first place is an achievement, but the biggest challenge to remain in it … We always want you in the lead.”
His Highness also called on the players to continue ijtihad and perseverance, and not to stop at the limits of completion, but rather take a starting point towards higher levels of performance and professionalism, wishing them success in the upcoming entitlements, and affirming His Highness his confidence in their ability to represent the state in the best way in all championships.
His Highness took the memorial photos with the Al -Ahly Youth Club team, its technical and administrative staff and a number of the families and families of the players, where the team members expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for his continuous support, encouragement and permanent follow -up, which had no great impact on achieving this achievement. The Al-Ahly youth team won this season 2024-2025, the ADNOC Professional Football League Championship for the ninth time in its history.

The team also crowned the title of His Highness the President of the State of Football, for the eleventh time in its history.

The team also won the UAE Super Championship and the Emirati -Qatari challenge.
