Experimental electronic tests for students 5-12 Monday

Governmental school departments revealed a pilot exam for students from the fifth to twelfth on Monday, June 2 in some subjects, including “social and science”.

School departments called for a circular for parents and students to prepare to perform the experimental electronic test and commit to attending with the aim of verifying the readiness of the devices used in the performance of the central semester tests, “the end of the current academic year 2024-2025”.

Complete presence
The schools emphasized that the attendance is mandatory for all students without exception, stressing the importance of bringing the ministerial devices that were delivered to students, or their devices in the event that the ministerial apparatus is not available, in order to ensure their technical efficiency and their full willingness to use in actual tests.

She explained that these tests do not have an evaluation character, but rather come within the framework of the logistical and technical preparations implemented by educational institutions to ensure the progress of the exam process smoothly, and to avoid any technical problems that may affect students’ performance.

30 minutes test
The test period is scheduled to reach 30 minutes, and the school administration determines the time period to perform the test, in proportion to the course of the school day, and students must save the student number and password, and in the event that they cannot save it, it will be changed according to the instructions attached to the schools.

In detail: School departments confirmed to «Emirates Today» that the importance of students attending the experimental tests was emphasized, with the need to bring their computer devices, with the aim of ensuring the smooth performance of electronic tests, and identifying any technical challenges that students may face before the actual exams, explaining that there is no compensation period for experimental tests, as it is considered “training” and does not affect the degree of students.

She said that these tests come within the framework of ensuring the effectiveness of the network and school systems, the test of the school teams’ readiness, and the raising of the efficiency of students in dealing with the electronic test page, considering that it is an opportunity to limit and solve challenges, or raise them to the relevant authorities before the official exams.

It is noteworthy that the final tests for the second semester will be held from 10 to 19 June 2025, according to an approved timetable, while the experimental test is an ideal opportunity for students to assess their willingness, and know the mechanism of implementing electronic exams, before taking the actual experience.

The schools concluded the circular by thanking the parents and students for their continuous cooperation and their keenness to make the educational process a success, stressing that the experimental test is a necessary step to ensure the fairness of the tests and the integrity of the technical performance of all the participants.
