"American Ras Al Khaimah" Celebrate the graduation of two batches

Ras Al Khaimah, May 29 / WAM / The American University of Ras Al Khaimah witnessed the graduation of the thirteenth and fourteenth batches, in the presence of a number of officials, members of the Board of Trustees and the teaching staff.

331 male and female students obtained their degrees in the Bachelor’s and Graduate Studies, including 188 graduates.

Artificial intelligence programs formed a major axis at the ceremony, as the first batch of a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, a four -year academic program.

The two concerts witnessed the honor of 68 graduates and 263 university students.

Eight students were honored with an estimate of “concession with honors”.

In a speech during the ceremony, His Excellency Robert Reigns, the Consul General of the United States of America in Dubai, praised the flexibility he showed
Graduates of the 2024 batch who were affected by the “Kofid-19” pandemic, and urged them to inspire inspiration from the Ghaf tree whose roots extend to a depth of 60 meters in the soil to remain fixed despite the circumstances.

For his part, Dr. David A. Schmidt, President of the University, is the importance of adaptation and vision in today’s world, adding: “You have proven your ability to face challenges, and your academic achievements are a testament to your willingness to lead the future.”

As for Professor Stephen C. Welhaite, First Vice President for Academic Affairs, urged graduates to adhere to diversity and cultural understanding, stressing that education is an ongoing journey.
