"Emirates Aluminum" It increases its supplies to "Hyundai Mobis" With aluminum "Selmal"
Abu Dhabi, May 30/ WAM/ Emirates International Aluminum Company announced the signing of today’s agreement with the world leader Hyundai Mobis in the manufacture of auto parts, to increase its supplies of solar -energy aluminum.
This agreement has been strengthening the existing cooperation between the two companies since 2015, as Emirates International Aluminum Company has reinforced up to 66 thousand tons of aluminum annually to Hyundai Mobis.
According to the agreement, Emirates International Aluminum Company will increase its supplies from aluminum to Hyundai Mobis from 8,000 tons this year to 15,000 tons annually by 2026.
The two companies also discuss a long -term agreement that includes the period after 2026 to supply value -added products, including aluminum cylinders, first aluminum alloy and aluminum recycled, and the two companies cooperate to develop mineral alloys that meet specific requirements in the automotive sector.
Aluminum is one of the main minerals in the automotive industry thanks to its light weight, durability and resistance to corrosion. Emirates International Aluminum Company is one of the largest metal alloys for the auto sector in the world.
Abdel Nasser Bin Kalban, CEO of the International UNICEAEAO, said that the company focuses on developing its innovations for the production of high -quality and low -emissions metals, looking forward to strengthening their successful partnership with Hyundai Mobis over the coming years, praising their confidence in the company and Celestall product, the first aluminum to be produced by relying on solar energy in the world.
For his part, Sun Wu Li, Senior Vice President and Head of the Procurement Department of Hyundai Mobis, stressed that the partnership with the UAE International Aluminum constitutes a strategic step towards building a sustainable supply chain that relies on low -carbon aluminum, which supports the company’s efforts to comply with global environmental laws.
In 2024, the production of aluminum, which is produced using solar energy, increased by 27%, to 80 thousand tons, of which 8,000 tons of aluminum-R are reinforced with recycled materials.
The Emirates International Aluminum Company is considered one of the approved companies according to the international standards for the auto sector, which ensures the adoption of quality management in the chain of supplying the auto sector worldwide.
