Trump confirms that the agreement on the armistice in Gaza is very soon

US President Donald Trump confirmed on Friday that a ceasefire agreement in Gaza is “very close”, after Israel has urged Hamas to accept the proposal submitted by the United States.

“We are very close to an agreement on Gaza,” Trump told reporters at a press conference in the oval office, adding, “We will inform you (developments) during the day or maybe tomorrow (Saturday). We have an opportunity to reach an agreement.”
