"UAE achievement" She celebrates 20 years of empowering young entrepreneurs

Dubai, May 30 / WAM / The “UAE Achievement”, the leading non -profit institution in teaching entrepreneurship and youth empowerment skills, celebrated the twenty years since its establishment, by graduating a new generation of entrepreneurs in the sixteenth session of its competition, “The National Company Program”.
The event was held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, in the presence of His Excellency Martina Strong, the US ambassador to the country, and gathered more than 800 students from different parts of the UAE to present their innovative projects to a high -level committee of business leaders and experts.
The competition, whose finals qualified for 20 teams (10 schools and 10 universities) out of 76, with an Emirati representation exceeding 40%, aimed at preparing students for the future of work, and its prizes focused on innovation, societal impact, sustainability, and financial knowledge, in line with the UAE strategies to qualify young people with skills, building capacity, sustainability, human, social, economic, and enabling future generations.
In the secondary school category, the company “Ricome” won the title of “General Company”, “Airus” team with “The Product of the Year”, the “Sastinley” team with the Sustainability Award, the “Confavi” team with the award for the best financial plan, and the “Thuffeif” team with the award for the best marketing plan, while Bhafia Balual from the “Airusense” team won the award president of the year,
As for the universities category, the “Estimation” team won the title of “General Company”, the “Speak AI” team with “the product of the year”, and the “Cleva” team with “Sustainability Champions”, and Latifa Al -Nuaimi from the “Cluba” team won the CEO of the year, and other prestigious prizes were awarded with the support of partners such as Haniole and the Mashreq Bank and Nestle.
In this context, Razan Al -Bashiti, CEO of the “Achievement of the Emirates” Foundation, confirmed that the institution sees students as leaders and makers for the future, noting that the “invisible approach” of the institution enhances confidence and creativity through practical experiences, and that the competition highlighted the ability of students to transform ideas for practical projects.
For its part, His Excellency Martina Strong, the US ambassador, expressed the pride of her country’s mission in the three -year partnership with “UAE’s achievement” to enhance entrepreneurship, stressing that cooperation focuses on achieving results, creating opportunities and prosperity in both countries.
In turn, Saeed Al -Qarqawi, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, expressed the Chamber’s pride in partnership to support innovators, considering the competition as an embodiment of joint commitment to empowering young people with entrepreneurial mentality and digital skills.
Sarah Shaw, Executive Director of the National Corporate Society Fund, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the “Sustainability Champions” initiative, executed in cooperation with Nestlé, was approved as a sustainable national project, indicating its success in graduating more than 200 students and focusing 75% of the initiatives submitted on sustainability, with plans to expand.
In statements to the Emirates News Agency, the winners reflected this trend, where Saif Abu Mahfouz, from the “Appreciation” team (the American University in Sharjah), explained that their project provides direct financial rewards for workers through the QR code, praising the direction they received from “achievement” and his aspiration for the regional qualifiers.
The student, Elza, from the team that won the British School in Abu Dhabi, stated that their project for a unified platform for university presentation came after a research that showed students’ need for such a service, praising the “achievement” methodology in developing the idea.
Arbitration committees participated in the leaders of leading institutions, Kafiza Al Khaleej, Shell, Apco, Oxnet, Mashreq Bank, Haniole, Procter & Gamble, and Winstalla, which enriched the experience of students.
