An integrated medical staff to provide health services to state pilgrims in the Holy Places

Dr. Essam Al -Zarouni, a member of the Health Affairs Committee at the UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office, confirmed that the committee is following up the health status of the state pilgrims before and after their arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through conducting the necessary medical examinations and providing preventive vaccinations, as well as providing them with directions and guidelines related to how to perform the rituals in a healthy and sound way.

Al -Zarouni said in statements to him that the committee includes a specialized medical staff and equipped with all the devices and equipment necessary to provide the necessary health services in all the camps of the Holy Places, where medicines and medical solutions are available in sufficient quantities, indicating that if the pilgrim’s condition is required to the hospital, he is transferred to one of the specialized hospitals in coordination with the competent authorities in the Kingdom while continuing to follow up on his condition by the medical team of the committee.

He pointed out that the committee pays great attention to awareness and education, especially with regard to the prevention of pilgrims from heat stress and sunstroke and limiting the transmission of respiratory diseases as well as preventive guidelines to maintain the health of the pilgrim in general in a way that guarantees him the performance of his suitability with ease and ease without being exposed to any health complications
