"Federal National" Looking to enhance cooperation with the Japanese parliament
Tokyo on June 2/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Marwan Obaid Al -Muhairi, Member of the Federal National Council at the headquarters of the Japanese Parliament, met with His Excellency Ken Saito, Chairman of the Friendship Committee with the Emirates in the Japanese Parliament.
During the meeting, it was emphasized the depth of parliamentary cooperation relations between the Federal National Council and the Japanese Parliament, the development of bilateral relations between the UAE and Japan and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination on various issues of common concern in various regional and international parliamentary forums, and the exchange of expertise, knowledge and parliamentary practices, in a way that enhances the cooperation and coordination between the UAE and Japan in all fields.
The two sides emphasized the importance of activating the tools of parliamentary diplomacy and enhancing constructive parliamentary dialogue, which contributes to supporting joint understanding on regional and international issues.
The two sides also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in vital areas that include space, artificial intelligence, aviation, and health, stressing the importance of developing projects and practical partnerships in these sectors.
For his part, His Excellency Kane Saito, head of the Emirati Friendship Committee in the Japanese Parliament, stressed the strength and depth of the strategic relations and partnership between Japan and the UAE, which includes the most prominent sectors, especially political, economic, education and technology.
He expressed his appreciation for the progress and success achieved by the United Arab Emirates in various fields, especially in the field of space exploration and artificial intelligence.
