Scientific and research partnership between the Holy Quran Complex and the University of Sharjah

The Holy Quran Complex in Sharjah today signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Sharjah, aimed at preparing and developing scientific studies, research and joint research programs in Quranic studies, interpretation sciences and different readings, and expanding areas of exchange of scientific experiences, in a way that contributes to preparing national cadres capable of leadership and innovation in this field.
The signing ceremony of the scientific partnership took place in the Holy Quran Complex, represented by Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al -Tunaiji, President of the Council, and by the university, Dr. Essam El -Din Ajami, Director of Sharjah University, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al -Hosani, Secretary -General of the Complex, Dr. Muammar Al -Bazib, Deputy Director of the University for the Fear of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, and a number of academic and research leaders, and directors of departments from both sides.
According to this partnership, work on developing studies and scientific research in the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an and its sciences, organizing scientific conferences, forums, training courses and workshops that would contribute to developing the quality of scientific research between the two sides, in addition to the training opportunities it provides for students of Sharia and Islamic studies, exchange scientific and practical experiences in graduate studies, and the use of artificial intelligence in serving the Holy Qur’an.
Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al -Tunaiji said: The scientific partnership with Sharjah University opens new horizons in developing Quranic studies, research and scientific publishing according to international best practices; The fact that the University of Sharjah is a leading educational institution that achieved the 53rd position globally in the quality of scientific research.
He added: This partnership contributes effectively to the development of Quranic studies and research, and to enhance the status of the complex as a scientific and global center for the research and sciences of the Holy Qur’an.
He pointed out that cooperation supports joint research and studies with the University of Sharjah, and is considered a strong motivation towards launching unique scientific projects in serving the Holy Quran and its sciences, stressing the need to form a work team to follow up on educational initiatives and develop strategic partnership; In order to enhance the role of Sharjah and its scientific and cognitive strategy, and to pay attention to the transfer of Islamic heritage to the whole world, in a way that achieves the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, in developing scientific research, and confirms that distinguished knowledge work and documenting it is a gain for societies and for future generations.
For his part, Dr. Essam El -Din Ajmi expressed his pride in signing the cooperation agreement with the Holy Quran Complex; And with the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and stressed that the university includes a group of faculty members, researchers and specialists in various fields, including the origins of religion, jurisprudence, the sciences of the Holy Qur’an, linguistics and modern technologies, indicating that this cooperation will contribute to the use of technology and artificial intelligence to support the sciences of the Holy Qur’an in terms of its readings and interpretation with efficiency, including It is easy to reach and publish it globally, stressing that the agreement will enhance scientific research and specialized studies in the Holy Quran, and support joint efforts.
Dr. Essam El -Din Ajami and his companions reviewed the scientific and research role of the Holy Qur’an, and his efforts in highlighting the tolerance of our Islamic religion through its three pillars; Sharjah global electronic acquisition that includes 172 countries around the world and facilitates obtaining Quranic holidays with various narratives, and the studies and research that the complex places at the top of its priorities, in addition to the Quranic museums that are known as the history of writing the Noble Qur’an and its rare manuscripts and the sciences of the Qur’an and its flags alongside the honorable Kaaba.
The Director of Sharjah University expressed his admiration for this scientific edifice, which constitutes a milestone in caring for the Holy Quran and its sciences, and the knowledge of its studies.
