Ajman police launches a campaign "Our summer is security and safety"
Ajman, June 3/ WAM/ The General Command of Ajman Police launched an awareness campaign entitled “Our Summer Security and Safety”, to enhance societal awareness of the risks of high temperatures during the summer, and that is within its continuous efforts to protect lives and property and promote safety during the summer.
Lt. Col. Noura Sultan Al Shamsi, Head of Media and Public Relations, said that the campaign aims to raise the level of societal awareness about public safety reserves during the summer, and includes awareness of the safety of beach visitors, by raising awareness of the dangers of swimming without taking safety precautions and monitoring children in open household swimming pools, and not allowing them to enter swimming pools without facilities and follow -up.
She pointed out that the campaign includes emphasizing the danger of leaving children inside the vehicle, especially with the high temperature that leads to suffocation inside the vehicle, because of the risk to their lives.
She stressed the need to be careful not to be exposed to heat stress during work or driving, with a commitment to conduct a vehicle exam, which includes ensuring the safety of the air conditioner and vehicle tires with an entry of the summer, and avoiding leaving any flammable materials inside.
Lt. Col. Noura Al Shamsi explained that the campaign includes several methods and methods of publication and awareness through various channels of communication, with the aim of enhancing public safety and ensuring a safe and accidental summer.
