He explained the Ministry’s keenness to educate the facilities and its workers on the importance of adhering to the provisions of “prohibition of work at noon” through the field visits to the inspectors, which include work sites and labor housing, which contributes to enhancing awareness of the requirements of occupational health and safety and sparing the workers sun and thermal stress.

She praised the private sector facilities that have initiated over the past years to provide breaks equipped with all the supplies in a way that ensures the provision of full comfort for workers during the daily period to prohibit work, which confirms the awareness of these facilities of the importance of taking all ways to maintain the health of workers before resuming their daily work after the stoppage period, calling on private sector facilities to implement such initiatives that would reflect positively to workers’ health And enhance their productivity.

The provisions of the “prohibition of work at noon” are obligated by companies to provide tools and supplies for the ban, and to equip the shaded places for workers who protect them from sunlight during the period of stopping work, or during their practice of licensed work, and securing appropriate cooling tools such as fans, adequate amounts of water, moisturizing materials such as salts and their similar ones, which are approved for use from local authorities in the state, and other amenities, And first aid equipment in the workplace.
