"Sharjah for Special Education" Reading heroes crowned an initiative "From Sultan’s thought"
Sharjah, on June 3 / WAM / The Sharjah Special Education Authority honored today the winners of the “From Sultan’s Think” initiative launched by the beginning of the second semester of the current academic year under the slogan “Science and Knowledge is the cause of progress and the basis of development” and participated in 45 schools in the emirate that included students of the ninth, tenth and eleventh grades in all curricula.
The initiative is based on choosing a book of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and putting it on school students for reading and reading, as the initiative aims to consolidate the culture of creativity and excellence in the hearts of students and enhance students’ association with narration, history, thought and dialogue that His Highness focuses in his books as well as developing the skill of free reading within the school community and stirring the spirit of competition among students The target age.
The criteria for selection included evaluating the skills of reading, understanding, understanding, analyzing, installing and expressing opinion, focusing on the positive values and trends that the student acquired during his knowledge journey with the writers and lessons learned that he was inspired by the thought of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
At the end of the initiative, the Authority honored the winners of the top ten, where financial prizes and certificates of appreciation were presented in honor of their excellence and superiority in the various stages of the competition. This honor came as a culmination of their efforts in absorbing the contents of the book and expressing their ideas in a way that reflects the cultural and intellectual awareness that the initiative aims to consolidate.
