10 thousand visitors to the activities of the conference and the first Emirati agricultural exhibition in Al Ain

Abu Dhabi, June 3/ WAM/ The activities of the first edition of the Emirati Agricultural Exhibition and the Ministry of Climate Change at the Ednik Al -Ain Center were successfully concluded under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidency Bureau.
The event, which lasted for four days, witnessed a wide demand and interaction from more than 10,000 visitors to the largest gathering of farmers and beekeepers in the country and concluded with a fruitful outcome of the strategic agreements to develop the sector and initiatives to support local crops, to confirm the UAE agricultural conference and exhibition the pivotal role that the UAE plays in enhancing sustainable food security and developing the entire agricultural sector.
His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al -Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the event, said that the UAE Agricultural Exhibition and Exhibition proved to be a starting point to enhance our efforts towards an innovative and sustainable agricultural sector, and the numbers that we are witnessing today is a testimony to the commitment of all the participants from our farmers to our youth and our partners, to achieve our ambitious vision of food security, and we will continue to build on this momentum in organizing the copies coming from the Emirati conference and exhibition, and that To consolidate the UAE’s position as a leading center for smart agriculture, inspired by the vision of wise leadership in converting challenges into opportunities that guarantee prosperity for our future generations.
The concrete success of the conference and the exhibition embodied in remarkable numbers that reflected the extent of its positive impact at various levels.
This attendance also clearly reflects the increasing interest of the Emirati society in the agricultural sector, and their remarkable keenness to support the national product and the effective contribution to achieving sustainable food security of the state.
The conference contributed to raising awareness among members of society and pushing them to master and acquire home agriculture skills in order to enhance their contribution to the process of sustainable food security in the country. In this regard, 25 workshops covered various fields of domestic agriculture.
The Emirati Agricultural Exhibition and Exhibition witnessed the participation of 109 citizens of citizens, including 33 beekeepers and honey producers, reviewed their best products and local crops from the good of national farms of various types of vegetables, fruits and honey, and various agricultural and food products.
Within the framework of the firm commitment to support and empowering citizens of citizens, more than 10 specialized workshops were organized for them, which confirms the practical orientation to provide farmers with the latest technical and technical knowledge and skills, and enable them to adopt the best modern and sustainable agricultural practices, which is directly in support and enhancing their productive capabilities.
The conference witnessed the holding of 35 in -depth discussion episodes and 9 main words whose discussions established the conference’s position is a vital platform for exchanging expertise and anticipating the prospects for the future of agriculture in the country, in addition to its role in defining innovative solutions to face the existing challenges and investing the opportunities available in the sector.
In confirmation of the richness of content and the diversity of experiences, 67 speakers of experts and specialists participated in the conference, which enriched the discussions and contributed to providing comprehensive analytical visions on ways to develop the agricultural sector and modernize its mechanisms.
On the educational, academic and research level, the participation of 4 specialized universities (Emirates University, Khalifa University of Science and Technology, Khorfakkan University, and Al Dhaid University) demonstrated the pivotal role of scientific research and academic innovation in advancing sustainable agricultural development, and developing scientific and practical solutions to the challenges facing the sector.
The Emirati Agricultural Exhibition and Agricultural Exhibition also witnessed the presentation of 21 students, their scientific research aimed at developing agricultural practices and the transformation of agriculture into more sustainable systems, while enhancing the quality and competitiveness of local crops.
The event attracted about 1000 male and female students from various academic levels, visited the various platforms of the Emirati Agricultural Exhibition and Exhibition, including the National Agricultural Museum, and they got acquainted with the legacy of the UAE in the field of agricultural and got acquainted with the UAE’s vision towards the future of smart agriculture supported by the latest climate smart technologies.
The holding of partnerships and cooperation had an important aspect in the activities of the UAE conference and the agricultural exhibition, which witnessed the signing of 10 strategic understandings and memoranda of understanding that represent concrete steps towards building effective and fruitful partnerships between various governmental, private and academic bodies.
