Raise the name of the UAE from the Brazilian list of countries that apply preferential tax systems

Today, the Ministry of Finance announced the official name of the UAE from the list of the Federal Republic of Brazil for countries that apply preferential tax systems, in a move that embodies the UAE’s firm commitment to the highest standards of tax transparency and global financial governance and reflects the development and depth of economic and trade relations between the two countries.
The advertisement is the culmination of a long -term technical and specialized dialogue that was based on partnership and strategic compatibility between the two countries.
Mohammed bin Hadi Al -Husseini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, stressed that raising the name of the UAE from the Brazilian list of countries that implement preferential tax systems that reflects the UAE’s firm commitment to applying international best practices and standards in tax and financial policies, and embodies the success of Emirati diplomacy in building partnerships based on transparency and mutual trust.
Al -Husseini said: “We look at this step as a starting point for enhancing economic cooperation with the Federal Republic of Brazil, and opening new horizons for mutual investments, in a way that serves the aspirations of the two countries towards achieving comprehensive and sustainable economic development, and we will continue to work to deepen bilateral relations and activate qualitative initiatives that benefit the economies of the two countries and their peoples.”
It is worth noting that the UAE is the first destination for Brazilian exports between the Arab countries, as the volume of trade exchange between the two countries exceeded 4.3 billion US dollars in 2024, which makes Brazil the largest commercial partner of the UAE in South America, and the two sides renew their commitment to benefit from all aspects of cooperation and joint opportunities to enhance economic relations.
It is expected that raising the name of the UAE from the Brazilian list for countries that apply preferential tax systems will contribute to advancing bilateral cooperation, especially in priority sectors such as trade and investment, in order to support the achievement of sustainable development goals and enhance the position of the UAE as a global business center.
