In the presence of Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed, Tahnoon bin Zayed chairs the meeting of the Council of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the Council of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology met, headed by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The meeting included reviewing the developments of projects, investments, and research related to artificial intelligence and advanced technology in the emirate.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the aim of establishing the council revolves around the development and implementation of policies and strategies related to the technologies, investments and research of artificial intelligence and advanced technology in Abu Dhabi, in addition to developing financing, investment and research programs with local and international partners, to enhance the emirate’s position in the field of artificial intelligence and advanced technology.

The Council reviewed the projects, investments, and research related to artificial intelligence and advanced technology in the emirate, and to discuss ways to integrate the latest technologies to improve services and enhance the quality of life.

The members of the Council also discussed global trends and investment opportunities in this sector, the tendencies of artificial intelligence in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the council’s future vision, its role in attracting global artificial intelligence companies, attracting leading talents, and increasing the competitiveness of the emirate globally.

The Council also briefed the most prominent projects and initiatives undertaken by the Abu Dhabi Development Company Holding Company, the Advanced Technology Research Council and ED

The meeting was attended by Khaldoun Khalifa Al -Mubarak, Jassem Muhammad Bouaba, Al -Zaabi, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al -Jaber, Muhammad Hassan Al Suwaidi, Faisal Abdel Aziz Al -Bannai, and Mr. Ping Chiao.

It is noteworthy that the Council of Artificial Intelligence and advanced technology was established in 2024 under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, may God protect him, with the aim of developing and implementing policies and strategies related to the technologies, investments and research of artificial intelligence and advanced technology in Abu Dhabi.
