“Health”: a 90% decrease in thermal stress compared to last year

The Ministry of Health registered a decrease of (90%) in the number of heat stress cases between pilgrims in the Hajj season (1446 AH) compared to last year, as part of the efforts of the health system in solidarity with government agencies to address health risks, in line with the targets of the “Health Sector” program, and the “Service of the Guests of Rahman” program that emanates from the Kingdom’s vision (2030), which seeks to enable the guests of Rahman to perform the rituals safely And health.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that the decrease came as a result of strengthening preventive interventions, intensifying health awareness, and coordination between the health system and government agencies, which contributed to protecting the health of pilgrims from thermal stress and enabling them to perform the rituals with ease and reassurance.
