14 emergency cardiac catheterization operation for pilgrims at East Arafat Hospital

East Arafat Hospital has recorded 14 emergency cardiac catheterization operations since the operation of the heart department on the first days of pilgrimage and until today using the mobile cardiac catheter device. The Makkah Al -Mukarramah Health Gathering clarified that these medical procedures are carried out under direct field supervision from King Abdullah Medical City in the Holy Capital, through a medical team specializing in heart disease, and with the support of Saudi qualified competencies in the fields of anesthesia, nursing and urgent heart care.

He added this service falls within the urgent care system, one of the paths of the modern health care model in the Kingdom, which aims to provide highly efficient specialized health care in the sites of the presence of pilgrims in a way that contributes to reducing the time of medical response and saving lives in critical time.

The health gathering indicated that the operation of the mobile cardiac catheterization system in the Holy Places is a qualitative shift in providing emergency heart services by providing immediate intervention without the need to transfer patients to advanced centers, which enhances clinical safety and ensures the continuity of care at the event site.
