Al -Ahly announces a contract with Zizou for four seasons .. Zamalek threatens

The Egyptian Al -Ahly Club announced the official contract with Ahmed Mustafa Zizou, the Zamalek wing, today, Friday, with a four -season contract in a free transfer deal with the option to extend for another season with the approval of the two parties.

Al -Ahly Al -Ahly published a video through its official platform on social media today, Friday, to present Zizou, in which he said: “Zizou in the land of history, Zizou Ahlawi.”

A source in the Egyptian Al -Ahly said that Zizou will leave this evening Cairo airport and join the team’s camp in Miami in preparation for participating in the Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States of America, from June 14 to July 13, with the participation of 32 teams.

Zizou had started his career in the Egyptian Tigris Valley, and joined the Belgian Liers in 2014 and played for him three years before moving to Portugal, where he played loaned to the Nacional Madeira team, then played in Morrings for two years before moving to Zamalek in 2019.

With Zamalek, Zizou succeeded in winning the league title twice, the cup three times, the Egyptian Super Cup once, the African Super twice, and the African Confederation twice.

He had sanctions amid reports of his agreement to move to Al -Ahly to participate in the Club World Cup after the renewal negotiations with the club reached a dead end.

The player justified the absence of training with his fear of clash with the angry fans of his signing reports to Al -Ahly.

To prevent the opponent from his services in the World Cup for Clubs scheduled in the middle of this month, local reports stated that Zamalek informed the Egyptian Football Association at the end of Zizou’s contract with the club on June 12 because of the establishment of the League Cup final on this day.

The club threatened escalating measures if Al -Ahly announced its contract with the player before June 12, while the Football Association insists that the season ends on the fifth of June with the confrontation of Zamalek and Pyramids in the Egypt Cup final, which Zamalek settled in its favor with a penalty shootout.

Al -Ahly begins its career in the Club World Cup against Inter Miami in the opening match of the competition.

Al -Ahly is competing in the first group, which also includes Miras and Porto.
