In the midst of the escalating differences between her and her ex -husband, the star Ahmed El -Sakka, the journalist Maha Al -Saghir revealed for the first time that she had a rare immune disease for more than a decade.

Al -Saghir said in radio statements that it was diagnosed in 2010 with an immune disease known as “autoimmune”, a disease in which the immune system attacks cells and organs of the body instead of protecting them, noting that the disease directly affected its lung.

She explained that she initially suffered from severe symptoms that prompted doctors to believe that she had cancer, which caused her a state of shock and anxiety, before she went to the British capital, London, to conduct advanced medical examinations that proved that what she suffers is a rare immune disease and not a malignant tumor.

Maha Al -Saghir confirmed that the disease is obligated to this day, and it may go through cases of severe episodes that require her to enter the hospital for treatment.

This statement comes after Ahmed El -Sakka announced his divorce from Maha Al -Saghir, after a marriage that lasted more than 26 years, and resulted in three children, in a move that sparked widespread controversy over the causes of separation and its repercussions. (she has)
