The Sharjah Volunteer Award launches a competition "Environmental heroes" For children

Sharjah on June 8 / WAM / The Sharjah Prize for Voluntary Work launched the “Environmental Champions” competition, which is directed to children from 7 to 12 years of age, with the aim of enhancing their environmental awareness and encouraging them to contribute to the voluntary protection of the environment through creative and innovative ideas.

The competition, which came on the occasion of the International Environment Day, aims to motivate children to produce short videos of no more than 60 seconds, providing an innovative idea that highlights the importance of volunteer work in preserving the environment, using various methods such as acting, narrative, drawing, or documenting scenes from daily life.

The award emphasized that participation is available to children from within the country only, and that the participating video must have high quality, and to be published on social media platforms, while preserving the literary rights of the participants.

Sharing requests are submitted via email info@sva.shj.ae Until June 30, while the deadline for the delivery of videos participating in the competition will be next July 31, with the winners to be announced during the month of August of the same year.

The evaluation criteria in the competition depend on the clarity of the environmental message, creativity in offering and directing, and the attractiveness of the video on social media platforms, in addition to the quality of production and sound.
