National boxing teams participate in 4 Asian tournaments during 2025
Abu Dhabi, June 9 / WAM / The Emirates Boxing Federation announced today, the participation of national teams in four continental championships during the period from August to November, as part of its plan to develop technical performance and enhance the presence of the state in regional sports forums.
The participation includes the Asian Class Category under 23 years and under 19 years, which is scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Thailand during the month of August, and they are followed by the presence in the third Asian Youth Games, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from 22 to 31 October. The continental participation in the Asian Men and Women Championship concludes, to be organized in November 2025.
Hassan Al Hammadi, a member of the Board of the Emirates Boxing Union, the Secretary -General, stressed that these posts are an important step in the march of developing national teams, and contributes to providing players with high competitive experiences, by facing a group of Asian heroes.
He pointed out that the coming period will witness the start of the preparatory stage, through an internal camp in Abu Dhabi, aimed at raising technical and physical readiness, and providing the appropriate training environment, in preparation for the upcoming entitlements.
