"Sharjah Space Science and Technology" Looking for cooperation with the University of Liverpool
Sharjah, June 9 / WAM / The Sharjah Academy of Space and Astronomy Science and Astronomy has discussed with a delegation from the University of Liverpool, ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of medicine, engineering, artificial intelligence, education technology, and social sciences, as well as offering initiatives for academic exchange and joint research projects that address common scientific and societal challenges.
This came during the visit of the University of Liverpool to the Academy in the framework of the continuous efforts to enhance international cooperation in the areas of higher education and scientific research, and coinciding with the establishment of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research that aims to develop the educational and research system in the emirate.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Hamid Mujul Al -Nuaimi, Advisor to the President of Sharjah University, Director of the Academy, Member of the Permanent Executive Committee of the Council, as well as members of the Permanent Executive Committee of the Council, and His Excellency the updated Dr. Yahya Al -Hashemi, President of the Sharjah Authority for Special Education and President of the Sharjah Academy of Education, and Dr. Mohamed Youssef Bani Yas, Advisor to Higher Education Affairs in the Authority, where the prospects for academic and scientific cooperation were discussed between higher education institutions in the emirate and the University Liverpool.
The Liverpool University delegation was chaired by Dr. Paul Lone, Dean of the Veterinary College of Sciences, and the delegation included a number of specialized academics.
The delegation was briefed on the latest technologies and advanced models in the fields of space and astronomy, and visited the Sharjah astronomical dome, which provided an innovative educational experience to the visiting delegation.
