100 rare cats worth $ 70,000 a dowry for a Vietnamese bride

A Vietnamese woman received a huge dowry from her parents, which reached 100 rare “Cevit” cats, along with gold bars, a contribution in companies, and many precious properties, which caused a stir on social media.

The 22 -year -old unidentified young woman, from southwestern Vietnam, married last May, and part of this dowry was 100 rare “Civit” cats, all of which are capable of childbearing, and its value is estimated at 70 thousand dollars.

The dowry also included 25 gold bars worth 20 thousand dollars, in addition to shares in a company equal to 12 thousand dollars, seven real estate, and high -value assets.

On the other hand, the groom’s family provided the bride 10 gold bars, about 8,000 dollars, diamonds and jewelry, and dowries are still an important tradition in many Asian countries, and symbolizes the family’s wealth and the commitment of parents to support the lives of their new daughter.

The father of the bride, Hong Chi Tam, stated that all of his sons took over the management of the family after their graduation at the university, and that he wanted to own his daughter as a generation of income, and confirmed that he will support her decision completely, whether she chose to raise or sell the “Sefit” cats, and Tam said: “My daughter is a graduate of the College of Business Administration, and she is fully able to manage these assets, whatever the method, this guarantees her financial independence.”

The “Cevit” cats are valuable in Vietnam, as any cat of this type is able to have children, and it can be about 700 dollars, while the price of a cat bearing of this type can be about 1100 dollars.

The value of these cats partially stems from their role in the production of “Cuban Lawak” coffee, which is one of the most expensive types of coffee in the world. This cat eats ripe coffee fruits that pass through its digestive system, producing coffee beans that are collected, cleaned, processed and roasted.

In addition to its role in producing coffee, its meat is luxurious food in China and Vietnam, and it was used as a traditional Chinese treatment.

However, according to the World Animal Protection Organization, “Cevit” cats are often hunted from the wild using harmful methods such as boxes of boxes and engagement.

The news and dowry of this bride sparked social media, as the comments focused as “while the Chinese are still competing for the cash dowries, the owners of millions of Vietnamers provide full industry chains as dowries.”

She pointed out that “behind all this extravagance is an animal exploitation, and we must think on an ethical basis how to use wildlife in commercial and marital transactions.” About South China Morning Post
