Officially… Egypt adopts remote work on Sundays every week, starting April 5

Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, announced the implementation of the remote work system for Egyptian state agencies on Sunday of every week, starting next April 5, with the exception of service and production sectors to ensure continuity of service provision to citizens. Madbouly explained during a press conference today that this step comes within the government’s plan to reduce energy consumption and enhance work flexibility, stressing the follow-up of the results and evaluation of the experiment during the first period to determine the possibility of expanding it in the future.
