Ajman police launches a campaign "The safety of the children is a duty"
Ajman, May 10/ WAM/ The General Command of Ajman Police launched an awareness campaign directed to parents under the slogan “Safety of Children” is a duty to enhance awareness of the dangers that children may be exposed to as a result of neglect, lack of attention and the need to follow up their behaviors, and beware of neglect, whether by the family or from the auxiliary workers category.
Lt. Col. Noura Sultan Al Shamsi, Head of Media and Public Relations Department at Ajman Police, explained that this campaign aims to protect children from incidents caused by their neglect or lack of attention to their behaviors, such as their arrival in dangerous materials in homes such as detergents or chemicals that are kept in unsafe places, leaving the house without facilities, touching open electricity or going out to balconies and surfaces, which exposes them to the risk of The fall, in addition to approaching sharp tools and ovens in the kitchen, and confirmed that such incidents can be prevented by intensifying follow -up and monitoring around the clock.
Al -Shamsi added that the campaign includes spreading awareness through various media and social media and communicating with parents and domestic workers in cooperation with the competent authorities, to make them aware of the most prominent wrong behaviors, materials and dangerous tools, while emphasizing the importance of educating the children themselves about what they must avoid inside the house.
