Trump announces the completion of a trade agreement with China awaiting final approval

Washington on June 11 / WAM / US President Donald Trump announced today, Wednesday, that the trade agreement with China was “completed”, but stressed that the agreement was still subject to the final approval of it and from Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In a publication on his “Trump” platform, Trump explained that China will “immediately” supply rare ground elements and vital magnets, while the United States will allow Chinese students to join American universities and colleges, indicating customs duties that the United States will obtain customs duties of 55%, while China gets 10%.
This announcement comes after the end of two high -level trade talks between the two countries, which lasted for two days in London and concluded yesterday evening, and resulted in a preliminary framework to revive the flow of sensitive goods between the two largest economies in the world.

After the negotiations, US Trade Minister Howard Lootnick confirmed that the two sides had reached a framework for the implementation of the former “Geneva Agreement”, saying: “We had first we had to remove negativity, and now we can move forward in positive trade and commercial growth.”
