“Dubai Roads” launches the automatic inspection system for the railway infrastructure in the Dubai Metro

Dubai Roads and Communications Authority, in cooperation with the company “QISII” and Future Technology Company (FMT), launched an advanced system based on artificial intelligence to perform automatic examination, under the name “Automated Iron Infrastructure Infrastructure”. This innovative technology is an advanced step in the Dubai Metro Maintenance, in line with Dubai’s vision to become a world leader in artificial intelligence and sustainable infrastructure.

The automatic inspection system for the railway infrastructure is an advanced robotic platform equipped with the latest sensor technologies, which includes LIDAR sensors, laser rays, and 3D cameras, where it examines railways and biomedical infrastructure, which improves the efficiency of the railway examination to ensure their sustainability. This system reflects the commitment of the Dubai Metro to upgrade safety, efficiency and reliability standards, by adopting the latest pioneering smart technologies in this field.

“Dubai is proud of its leadership in adopting smart solutions in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the Dubai Metro service, and the introduction of the automatic inspection system for the railway infrastructure is a new advanced step in our path towards preserving the position of Dubai Metro as one of the most advanced and safe public transport networks in the world.”

For his part, the Director General of QICLM, Idivid Franks, said: “The automatic examination system is an important achievement that will make a qualitative shift in maintenance operations by enhancing safety and efficiency levels, data -based decision -making, and represents a turning point in the railway infrastructure management in Dubai.”

“We are proud to cooperate with the Roads and Communications Authority and the Kiolis MHI to introduce this advanced system to Dubai. Each from the Authority and the Slegm MHI are already embodied in ambitious future visions by employing advanced robot techniques and artificial intelligence, where the system achieves a qualitative shift in performance The railway infrastructure, safety levels, and the sustainability of Dubai Metro.

Looking at the future, the “automatic inspection system of railway infrastructure” is not just a robot, but rather an intelligent solution based on artificial intelligence that embodies the features of the future of transportation of transportation. This system contributes to supporting the goals of the smart city of Dubai, enhancing a sustainable and flexible infrastructure, and reflects a firm commitment to employing emerging technologies to improve the quality of daily life for citizens and visitors alike.

By accelerating examination operations, enhancing safety standards, and providing more intelligent planning, the Dubai Metro continues to raise urban transport standards, in order to enhance Dubai’s position as a global center for innovation and smart mobility.

The system implementation process with several concrete and measurable benefits, including the following:
Evidence of safety: Reducing the operations of traditional methods by up to 70%, and improving the ability to assess the state of infrastructure by 40%.

Raising operational efficiency: Automated operation contributes to reducing the examination period by approximately 75%, allowing examination operations at a higher pace without affecting the service, thus improving the reliability of the system as a whole. For example, 2,400 human working hours can be reduced to only 700 hours using the system.

Predictive maintenance: The advanced diagnostic techniques provided by the system enable the application of proactive maintenance strategies, which contributes to prolonging the life of the infrastructure and reducing periodic maintenance costs by up to 25%.
Improving decision -making: Instant data analyzes allow for accurate and studied decisions in maintenance, which enhances the efficiency of resource management by 40%, and reduces unnecessary interventions.
