Dubai, June 15 / WAM / The Emirates Health Services Corporation recorded a qualitative achievement at the level of international credits, after it became the largest in the Middle East and North Africa region in terms of the number of rehabilitation facilities approved at once from the International Rehabilitation Facilities Accreditation Committee (Carf), by adopting an integrated network that includes 16 health facilities belonging to the institution.
This unprecedented achievement is added to the Foundation’s balance of international credits, and embodies the growing international confidence in the quality of the Emirati health system and its leadership in providing specialized health care services according to the highest international standards and practices.
His Excellency Dr. Youssef Mohamed Al -Serkal, Director General of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, expressed his pride in this achievement as an international certificate on the leadership of the Foundation in developing specialized rehabilitation services, and evidence of the progress it made in building an innovative health model, in line with the vision and directives of rational leadership.
He said that the Emirates Health Services Corporation’s access to this accreditation contributes to enhancing our ability to smart expansion in rehabilitation services, and providing advanced treatment experiments that take into account the needs of patients and outperform their expectations, in a way that enhances their position in the ranks of the world leading in the quality of health care.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al -Naqbi, Executive Director of the Acting Health Services Sector, explained that this accreditation reflects the commitment of the institutions affiliated with the Foundation to provide integrated rehabilitation services that amount to the highest international standards, pointing out that obtaining the international accreditation of “Carf” for a period of three years is the outcome of a deliberate trip and a systematic development plan to provide a distinguished health experience that guarantees the safety of patients and their participation and their families in developing treatment plans, and evaluation Performance based on scientific indicators, and the application of international best practices in quality, while adopting the latest medical technologies.
Latifa Rashid, Director of the Health Support Services Department at the Foundation, praised the great efforts made by the work teams in physiotherapy facilities, the integration of performance and the spirit of the team that was evident in achieving this qualitative dependence, stressing that this achievement is a direct fruit of the culture of excellence that the Foundation has succeeded in establishing, and its constant commitment to providing exceptional care and high -quality services for rehabilitation patients, according to the best international standards.
The adoption of “Carf” is a prominent international standard in the field of rehabilitation, as the Foundation’s obtaining this comprehensive dependence reflects its commitment to enhancing the quality of life by providing sustainable treatment services with efficiency and reliability, within a healthy system based on innovation and care integration, in line with national health goals and strategies.
The accreditation included all the hospitals of the institution qualified according to the criteria of “Carf”, in addition to the Center for Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine in Ras Al -Khaimah, after the physiotherapy departments have passed a comprehensive evaluation that lasted for several days, conducted by a specialized committee of “Carref” experts, ensuring policy review, evaluation of rehabilitation programs, and conducting extensive meetings with technical and administrative cadres and interviews with patients and their families, in addition to field rounds, and field tours, And analysis of statistical indicators and performance outputs.
