Bahrain Medical University organizes the sixteenth annual graduation ceremony

The Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Jumaa, attended the sixteenth annual graduation ceremony held by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) – Bahrain Medical University, in the presence of a group of senior officials and prominent academic figures, including: Professor Depusa Mekamara, President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland; Professor Samir Al -Atoum, President of Bahrain Medical University; Professor Kahl Kelly, Vice President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland; Professor Michael B. Murphy, adviser to the National University in Ireland.

The ceremony witnessed the honor of 142 graduates from the medicine program, in addition to 130 graduates from the undergraduate and master’s programs in nursing, which reflects the university’s firm commitment and its continuous contribution to developing the health care and higher education sectors in Bahrain.

During the ceremony, the distinguished academic achievements were honored by the College of Medicine:

Where Dr. Ola Jamil Muhammad) won the university) on the gold medal for the highest degree of scientific achievement at the university, the bronze medal for the last year, the James Venocan Award in Medicine, and the Nile Ohigens Award in Surgery.

Dr. Zain Mohamed Al -Muqbel also won the gold medal for the highest degree in the last year, the silver medal for the last year, and the Professor Joe McKinamine Award in Pediatrics.

Dr. Khadija Sayed Al -Tuwalani won the Prize for Professor Charlotte Kamel in psychiatry.

Dr. Maher Ali Al -Qattan won the John Murphy Award in Gynecology and Childbirth.

Dr. Khaled Hamid Hussein won the Prize for Professor David Witford in public medicine.

In addition to academic achievements from the Faculty of Nursing and Corps and the College of Graduate Studies and Research:

The nurse, Ali Jamal Ramadan, won the first batch of the Faculty of Nursing and the Come on the gold medal for the highest level of scientific achievement in the Bachelor of Nursing and the bronze medal for the last year.

The nurse, Rahaf Adnan Itani, won the silver medal in the Bachelor of Nursing.

The nurse Rawiya Al -Abbasi won the Islamic Rafidah Award in Nursing.

The nurse, Jawad Jamil Saleh, won the gold medal for the highest level of scientific achievement in the Master of Nursing.
