Ras Al Khaimah Chamber is looking to enhance trade cooperation with Malaysia
Ras Al Khaimah, June 18 / WAM / The Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed opportunities to expand the areas of economic cooperation between the business community in the emirate and Malaysia.
This came during a meeting of His Excellency Mohamed Musabeh Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber with His Excellency Dato Tingco Siraj Al -Zaman bin Tingko Muhammad Arefin, Ambassador of the Republic of Malaysia to the state and his accompanying delegation, at the Chamber’s headquarters in the presence of His Excellency Youssef Ismail, Vice -Chairman of the Chamber, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Saud bin Saqr Foundation for the Development of the Cheb Projects, and Muhammad Al -Allah, Deputy Director General of the Chamber.
The head of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber stressed that the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah enhances its efforts to deepen its relations with Southeast Asian countries, especially since the economy of these countries is the fastest growing worldwide, indicating the importance of coordination and organizing joint work to provide appropriate opportunities, and exchange ideas in order to increase the classes of Emirati national products in the Malaysian markets.
He said that the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah is one of the most important economic destinations for foreign investments regionally and internationally, due to the availability of appropriate legislation and stimuli contributing to enhance their competitiveness.
He affirmed the keenness of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber to redouble efforts to provide all possible facilities for Malaysian investors, and to activate joint communication channels between private sector companies, Emirati investors and businessmen and their counterparts in Malaysia.
For his part, the Ambassador of Malaysia affirmed the interest of the business environment in his country in enhancing economic relations, the desire to coordinate to exchange visits between entrepreneurs and introduce them to promising commercial and investment opportunities, and their participation in all exhibitions organized by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, indicating that these exhibitions are a direct economic platform that can be used in a way that achieves public interests.
