Issa Saleh Al -Gurg’s Group supports “Dubai Schools” with 14 million dirhams

The Knowledge Fund Foundation in Dubai signed a memorandum of understanding with the group of Isa Saleh Al -Garqa Group, according to which the group provides financial support for the Dubai Schools project of 14 million dirhams, within the framework of the group’s commitment to the spirit of social responsibility and its keenness to support education and empower young generations and contribute to preparing future leaders, and in line with the Dubai approach in designing a unique and innovative educational model characterized by international standards and provides opportunities for all, in addition to supporting Dubai Social Agenda 33 goals and Dubai Education 33 strategy, which focuses on achieving the most able educational system to keep pace with Dubai’s future ambitions.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Al -Basti, Secretary -General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, Chairman of the Guidance Committee for Dubai Schools, His Excellency Ahmed Abdel Karim Jalfar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Knowledge Fund in Dubai, and His Excellency Dr. Raja Issa Saleh Al -Gurg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Issa Saleh Al -Gurg Group, and His Excellency Abdullah Muhammad Al -Awar, Executive Director of the Knowledge Fund Foundation in Dubai.
Investment in the future.

In this context, Abdullah Mohammed Al -Basti, Secretary -General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Schools Guidance Committee, said: “Investing in education is an investment in the future and a major engine to accelerate human, social and economic development. In the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister Defense, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, the emirate continues to consolidate the pillars of a leading educational system, which is concerned with empowering students, and aims to place the city among the 10 best cities in the world in the quality of education, in line with the goals of Dubai Social Agency 33.

He added: “The” Dubai Schools “project, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2021, embodies the vision of leadership in making education a national priority, and opening promising horizons for the partnership between the government and private sectors. “Dubai Schools” provides an integrated educational environment concerned with stimulating students’ growth and launching their energies in various aspects, starting from consolidating the love of learning and cognitive curiosity, to the constant endeavor to explore and stimulate creative thinking.

The partnerships of the empowerment of students, from local authorities and private companies or various community sectors, contribute to increasing the numbers of students in “Dubai Schools” and ensuring the continuity of their educational career, as it is targeted by 2033, that the total absorptive capacity in all branches of “Dubai Schools” in the regions of Nad Al -Shiba, Al -Baraqa and Al -Khawaneej, to 15,000 academic seats.
