Jamal Al -Suwaidi signs his latest publications in Beijing International Book 2025
BEIJING, on June 19/ WAM/ The Beijing International Book Fair 2025 hosted today His Excellency Dr. Jamal Sanad Al -Suwaidi, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research in the Pavilion of the United Arab Emirates, participating within the activities of the exhibition held from 18 to 22 June, where the English version was signed from His Excellency “The National Identity in the United Arab Emirates … between the privacy of constants and values and the global standards” the latest books and represents a qualitative addition in Field of strategic studies and national thought.
Al -Suwaidi thanked those in charge of the exhibition, praising the Emirati -Chinese relations, which he described as strong strategic relations based on cultural, economic and historical foundations established since 1984, and represents a model for constructive cooperation between the East and the Middle East.
Al -Suwaidi explained that the national identity of the United Arab Emirates was formed over centuries of the common history and the inclusive culture of the people of the region before the establishment of the union, but it was established permanently and clearly that the state of the Union was at the hands of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who united the land and the people under the banner of one homeland and a comprehensive national identity.
He said that the book provides an analytical reading of the experience of the UAE in building a national identity that combines originality and modernity, and promotes the values of tolerance, coexistence and progress, and that this identity is not rigid, but flexible and able to interact positively with the developments of the times, without losing its specificity or fascinating globalization, pointing out that the book is a serious research attempt to reformulate the Emirati national personality, in light of the challenges of the technological revolution and information. The accelerated, represents an intellectual contribution to the global debate about the future of national identities in a changing world.
