The President of the State sends a written message to the Prime Minister of Canada, delivered by Abdullah bin Zayed

Ottawa, June 20 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, sent a written message to His Excellency Mark Carne, Prime Minister of Canada, related to bilateral relations between the two countries.

The letter was delivered by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, upon his meeting with His Excellency Mark Carne, Prime Minister of Canada, at the beginning of a working visit by His Highness to the Canadian capital Ottawa.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the UAE and Canada, and expand the horizons of joint cooperation in a way that serves mutual interests and enhances the prosperity and prosperity of the people of the two countries.

His Highness and His Excellency the Canadian Prime Minister also discussed the paths of joint cooperation in a number of fields, including economic and commercial, in addition to energy, artificial intelligence, and education.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the UAE and Canada are linked to firm friendship and a growing partnership based on the basis of fruitful and constructive cooperation, in a way that keeps pace with the future aspirations of the two countries and supports their efforts in achieving sustainable development.

The two sides also discussed all current developments at the regional and international levels, and exchanged views on them, and His Highness touched on the importance of strengthening joint efforts to safeguard international peace and security.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, His Highness Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Commercial Affairs, and His Excellency Abdul Rahman Ali Al Neyadi State Ambassador to Canada.
