Abdullah Al -Hamid meets a number of Arab content makers in the French city of Cannes

On June 21 / WAM / His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamid, Chairman of the National Media Office, Chairman of the Emirates Media Council, met a number of Arab content makers, during his participation in the activities of the “Cannes Lions Creativity” festival, which is held in the French city of Cannes, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Gamal Mohamed Obaid Al -Kaabi, Director General of the National Media Office.
The meeting witnessed a highlight of the upcoming Bridge summit in Abu Dhabi next December as a global platform for the integration of media efforts and the development of an advanced media system that looks forward to the future, as His Excellency confirmed that the summit constitutes a vital space for communication, exchange of experiences and creating new media solutions that enhance the positive impact of the content.
The content makers called for active participation in the activities of the upcoming summit, based on their pivotal role in shaping collective awareness and delivering creative messages to a varied audience across various digital platforms, stressing that the content industry has become a tool for building awareness and culture, and an active element in supporting the sustainable development process.
His Excellency pointed to the importance of a content industry that expresses Arab culture and issues and communicating it to a large global audience through digital platforms, in particular the aspirations of its youth to development and prosperity.
