Sharjah fare shows the best global practices in the transport sector in Hamburg
Sharjah on June 25 / WAM / The “Sharjah Farah” participated in the International Federation for Public Transport (UITP) hosted by the city of Hamburg, Germany, under the slogan “Public Transport as a driving force for flourishing cities” with the aim of following up the latest global trends in the public transport sector and exploring technologies and smart solutions that contribute to improving the quality of services provided to society.
The delegation, which included Khaled Al -Kindi, Director General of Sharjah Faj, and Mustafa Shalaby, Director of Operations Department and the Appreciation of Qabbani, head of the fleet department of the latest global practices and innovations in the public transport sector and innovative experiences of sustainable transportation systems and digital solutions applied in major smart cities around the world and the pioneer in the field of transport in addition to identifying best practices in the areas of digital transformation, environmental sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.
Khaled Al -Kindi stressed that the participation of Sharjah’s fare at this global summit represents an important step within the continuous taxi efforts in adopting the best innovative solutions that would advance the transportation system in the emirate in line with Sharjah’s vision aimed at enhancing the quality of life and achieving the highest standards of comfort and safety for society.
