Sharjah Airport Authority wins a prize "To distinguish from the category of social responsibility" For 2024
Sharjah, June 26 / WAM / The Sharjah International Airport Authority crowned during the ceremony organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday evening at the Sharjah Expo Center at the Sharjah Prize for Excellence in the Category of Community Responsibility for the year 2024 in a qualitative achievement added to its founding institutional record and reflects its firm commitment to the values of giving, excellence, sustainability and consolidating its role as a leading institution that adopts an integrated approach In the service of man, society and the environment.
The authority’s victory came based on its distinguished performance within four main axes: the community, the environment, the work environment and the relations with the stakeholders, according to a set of qualitative indicators, the most prominent of which are: environmental sustainability, community initiatives, awareness efforts, support for the category of determination, enhancing the work environment and empowering employees as well as strengthening community partnerships.
Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, affirmed that this honor embodies the fruit of strategic efforts that have been consistent with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah in establishing comprehensive development concepts, as the authority was distinguished by the continuation of the implementation of a growing qualitative community initiatives compared to previous years and participated effectively in a wide range of activities and initiatives directly affected in various Society groups also contributed to strengthening the institutional sustainability system through pioneering performance indicators, to be the award as a certificate of recognition of an integrated institutional path that places man at the core of his priorities.
He said that this coronation is the fruit of integrated collective efforts made by the work teams in the authority in cooperation with our strategic partners with the aim of consolidating a distinguished institutional model in adopting social responsibility as a comprehensive strategic approach and sustainable practice through qualitative initiatives managed efficiently, continuing to expand the scope of this societal impact and enhance our institutional practices in line with the best international standards and in a way that contributes to human service The protection of the environment, support for the national economy, and establishes the position of the Emirate of Sharjah as a global destination that elevates its values, and embraces its development aspirations.
