Egypt: The start of producing 60 million cubic feet per day from the field "back"

Cairo, June 27 / WAM / The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced the success of the works of digging the path in the “noon 6” well, adding to the current production rates about 60 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, in an important step to support the natural gas supply system during the current period.
The ministry said in a statement today, broadcast by the Middle East News Agency, that in the wake of the completion of the excavation work successfully, the excavation device went to complete its planned tasks, and the start of the excavation work in the “noon 13” well, which is expected to contribute to the addition of 55 million cubic feet per day of gas, according to engineering studies, in a way that enhances the local production system.
The statement said that these positive results come as an extension of the successful partnership between the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Italian company that operates the back field, and to complete the previously established development plans, ensuring the speedy implementation of drilling and field development using the latest global technologies in deep waters.
