A system for real estate brokerage companies to stimulate the employment of citizens

The Dubai Land and Property Department announced an opportunity for citizens wishing to join the “Dubai Real Estate Program”, by registering in the program, through an electronic link dedicated to the official website of the department, revealing that it will apply a special motivational points system for real estate brokerage companies that contribute to the employment of citizens.

The department emphasized that its step comes in light of the increasing demand that the program has witnessed since its launch, as it succeeded in attracting large numbers of citizens interested in entering the real estate mediation market, which reflects its growing position, as a strategic initiative, which enhances the participation of national cadres in this vital sector.

The Dubai Lands called on developers and real estate brokers, especially those who have not had the opportunity to join the Dubai Real Estate Program in its previous stages, to participate in supporting the program’s march, by providing their offers and initiatives that contribute to strengthening the program’s targets, as they are essential partners in its success.

The department stressed the importance of this cooperation in building a comprehensive system based on integration between the government and private sectors, and opens the way for qualitative opportunities to qualify and employ national competencies, in order to support the sustainability of the real estate sector and establishes Dubai’s position as an attractive environment for talents and investment.

According to the “Dubai Land”, the program has recorded a remarkable achievement, as the percentage of brochures exceeded 180%, compared to the annual target, as well as the implementation of dozens of specialized training courses held in cooperation with a number of accredited academic institutes. After passing the training requirements, the participants are granted a “real estate broker” card valid for three years, allowing them to officially exercise the profession, according to the legal and regulatory frameworks approved in the emirate.

And “Dubai Land” confirmed that these efforts reflected the performance of qualified brokers who recorded real estate transactions whose total value exceeded 500 million dirhams, from the start of the program until the end of April 2025, while 231 new real estate mediation companies have been released.

The department pointed out that it has organized more than 10 meetings and gatherings with the 71 strategic allies so far, from various specializations related to the real estate sector, including 26 real estate development companies, 38 real estate mediation companies, and four training and rehabilitation institutes, which contributed to building an integrative network that enhances the professional success opportunities for the participants, and establishes the support system to settle this vital sector.

The department revealed that in a move aimed at stimulating the business environment and supporting the localization of real estate professions, it will implement a special motivational points system for real estate brokerage companies that contribute to the employment of citizens, as these companies will obtain additional points, which would raise their classification within the evaluation system approved by the department, which reflects positively on their competitive opportunities in the market.

“Dubai Land” confirmed that the Dubai Real Estate Program represents one of the main axes that are consistent with the targets of “Dubai Social Agenda 2033”, as it seeks to enable citizens to benefit from the available economic opportunities in the real estate sector, by providing specialized vocational training, issuing a “national mediator” license for three years, and allocating a percentage of real estate projects to the participants in the program, as well as enhancing opportunities to employ them in companies Real estate mediation operating in Dubai.

She explained that this program is an integrated platform for developing national competencies, and preparing a generation of eligible citizens, according to the highest professional standards, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of Dubai’s position in a world leading in real estate investment, as it aims to raise the percentage of citizens working in the field of real estate mediation to 15% during the next three years, in a move that reflects the Dubai government’s commitment to involving national cadres in economic sectors of high value.
