The President of the Republic of Ecuador meets the envoy of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs

The government of the Emirates and Ecuador are looking at the prospects for enhancing partnership and constructive cooperation.

Kito on June 30 / WAM / His Excellency Daniel Nuboa, President of the Republic of Ecuador, met with His Excellency Omar Sultan Al -Ulama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Labor Applications, the envoy of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Republic of Ecuador, and reviewed with him the prospects of strengthening bilateral relations, targeted partnerships and positive cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields.
This came, as part of an official visit by His Excellency Omar Sultan Al -Ulama and a high -ranking Emirati delegation that included representatives of the government and private sectors and the major Emirati companies, to the Republic of Ecuador, during which he met with a number of ministers and senior officials in the Ecuador government, the business community and investors, and discussed with them the march of distinguished relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them and push joint strategic cooperation to new horizons.
The official visit witnessed the organization of the first economy and business forum between the UAE and Ecuador, with the wide participation of representatives of the governments of the two countries and leaders of the economy, investment and technology sectors, who discussed ways to enhance economic partnerships and future prospects for cooperation between business leaders and companies in the two friendly countries, available investment fields, and future economic opportunities of common concern.
During the visit, the formation of the parliamentary friendship group between the UAE and the Republic of Ecuador, which will undertake the tasks of enhancing communication and cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The envoy of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Ecuador attended the meeting of the Ecuadorian Business Committee, and he conducted visits during which he was known for various national projects in Ecuador in the fields of energy and agriculture, and he met groups of young people in the multiple institutes center and got acquainted with a number of innovative projects they lead in various vital sectors.
In a related context, representatives of the Emirati authorities and companies participating in the visit conducted bilateral meetings with their counterparts in the Republic of Ecuador, during which new partnerships were launched, and existing partnerships were strengthened.
