This year, Prince William chose to commemorate the birth anniversary of his mother, Princess Diana, by re -focusing light on an initiative called “Homewards”, which he launched two years ago, and aims to eliminate displacement cases, according to the website of the British newspaper “People”.

Two years ago, the initiative took the expansion, with the support of about 50 million pounds from Lloyds Bank, amid great societal solidarity, as the initiative expanded to include six vital areas known for the spread of homeless people in all aspects of the United Kingdom, which is the great concern that was occupying the late princess, who was known for its help to the homeless.
The British newspaper quoted Prince William, his pride in continuing the efforts that his late mother was making in this regard, where he sent solidarity messages and urged the concerted efforts to end the displacement cases, considering the matter as a dream that is easy to achieve, in the areas: Aberdeen, Nioport, Northern Ireland, Bunmouth, Caraist Chirrch, and Mabeth in London.
It appears that the initiative, which was launched by Prince William, is from the benign cultivation that the late Princess planted in the hearts of her two sons, usually accompanied them when she visited the shelters, and her keenness to participate in providing assistance to her needy.

The late princess had started, since mid -1980, her charitable activities, which were not limited to the United Kingdom, but also extended to the continent of Africa, and the princess took great attention to serious diseases and health care outside the framework of traditional royal interests, including the disease: AIDS and leprosy.
After her separation in 1996, Princess Diana did not stop at the time of her social duties, as she remained the primary sponsor of the “Displacement Center Center Point”, the “English National Ballet Team”, the “Anti -Leprosy Organization”, and the “National AIDS Organization”, and continued to hold the position of “President of Armond Street Hospital”, and “Mars” Mars Central Hospital specializing in treatment Cancer.
