Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center launches "Our summer in Arabic"

Abu Dhabi, July 3 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, launched the “Summer in Arabic” initiative, which is organized for the first time during the period from July to August 2025, and targets children and young people from the age group between 8 and 17 years, through a series of interactive events and creative activities that highlight the aesthetics of the Arabic language and provide it in a modern form that accompanies aspirations The new generation.
This initiative comes within the framework of the center’s efforts aimed at consolidating the position of the Arabic language as a living, vibrant language and knowledge, through educational and interactive experiences that contribute to developing linguistic and expressive skills among young people, and enhances their association with cultural identity, in line with the UAE’s tendencies in supporting creativity, empowering young energies, and consolidating national and societal values.
The audience will be on a date with a variety of interactive and creative activities, most notably: “Cariocy in Arabic”, which is organized in cooperation with the “Anghami” platform, and will take place on July 10 and 17 in the lighthouse of Saadiyat, and this artistic and entertainment initiative is one of the innovative activities that aims to revive the aesthetic of the Arabic language by singing and voice interaction, which contributes to the development of speech and rhythm, and building confidence among the participants from the participants The age group is 10-17 years, as it will be implemented in an interactive style that allows the participants to choose their songs from a coordinated list that includes various Arabic music patterns.
The initiative also includes a series of workshops designed to develop children’s skills in written and linguistic expression, which will be held within the children’s library in the cultural complex in Abu Dhabi.
The cultural complex also witnesses a number of reading sessions for children from 9 to 12 years old, during July and August.
The initiative also includes an introductory session in the “Friends of the Arabic Language” competition, held in the Al -Wathba Library, and targeting children and young people from the age of 8 to 17 years, with the aim of informing them of the mechanism of participation in the competition, and motivating them to interact with the Arabic language through continuous cultural and knowledge challenges organized throughout the year.
