Abu Dhabi, July 3 / WAM / The Federal Police Care and Follow -up Department of the General Administration of Community Protection and Crime Prevention organized a coordination workshop with the General Command of Dubai Police and the Dubai Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to discuss strategic directions and procedures related to the application of smart community measures, such as electronic police follow -up and implement the provisions of community service.
The workshop dealt with the most prominent plans and strategic projects, and reviewed the challenges and variables related to societal issues, and the participants also discussed ways to develop effective alternative solutions that contribute to enhancing community security, with a focus on unifying the procedures and their governance, in a way that supports the bureaucracy and achieving the highest levels of efficiency.
This workshop comes within the framework of the government trend towards developing the police and service security system, in a way that enhances the response to societal changes and achieves sustainable security.
