A tourist was killed in Romania, following an attack from a bear

Bucharest on July 4 / WAM / a tourist died after he was attacked by a bear in the Roman Caribat Mountains, according to official sources.
It was reported that a 48 -year -old foreigner was traveling with his fiery bage along the mountain road, a famous road for tourists, when he was attacked by the wild animal near the village of Arvo, while his body was found with biting wounds.
The police launched an investigation into the microscopic circumstances, with suspicion that the man may have been killed in an unintended murder, and no additional details were available.
The authorities killed the suspected animal, a female bear, with bullets, and eyewitnesses on the bear attack had informed the Disaster Management Authority through an emergency call.
The “J4 Media” electronic newspaper, quoting the forest office, reported that 112 bears live in the Arvo region alone.
The number of bears in Romania has increased by three to four times in recent years, according to the preliminary results of a study conducted by the Marasia Governmental Forest Research Institute, as the number of bears has grown from 3 thousand to an estimated 10,000 to 13,000.
The bears entered decades, villages and even cities in Romania repeatedly, in search of food in garbage boxes, while several deaths have already occurred.
Bears are not allowed to be killed in Romania except with special permits.
