Hoda Al Ali .. an Emirati talent aspires to achieve an Olympic in the bow and arrow

The UAE national team and the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, Hoda Saleh Al Ali, (15 years), aspires to achieve global achievements in the sport of bow and arrow, and reach the podiums in international championships, including the Olympics.
Hoda derives her passion for the game from her older sister, “Alia”, who had the most prominent role in motivating and encouraging her to exercise and develop her skills.
Hoda coach, the Korean “Lee” and “Song”, and the Egyptian Ahmed Nabil, along with her sister, confirmed that she has distinctive mental and physical capabilities that qualify her to achieve excellence in this sport.
Speaking to «Emirates Today», Hoda said: “I loved the arc and arrow game from the first moment I saw. It is a sport that requires a high mental focus, and the support of my father, my sister, the Fujairah Club and the coaches in my continuity and development, and my ambition does not stop at the limits of participation, but rather to win and qualify for the Olympic sessions in the future women and women in the future.
“I am currently preparing to participate in two important championships in Slovenia and Canada, and the Canada Championship is an important station, as it is qualified for the Youth Olympics in Senegal (Dakar 2026), and I feel that I am in good readiness to provide strong performance.”
She made it clear that she is only focused on bow and arrow, and does not play any other sport, because this game requires a great mental focus and continuous effort.
Hoda Al Ali won many medals in various championships, as she won three gold and two silver medals in the Arab Championship that was held in Tunisia during the month of May, and the bronze of the West Asian Championship (Saudi Arabia 2024), while she won two gold and bronze women in the Gulf Championship organized in the Emirates, and also achieved a record in the category of 40 meters with 687 points.
Hoda talked about the most prominent challenges she faces, foremost of which is facing international players with experiences, and the need for a high concentration to overcome them, in addition to dealing with tension in moments of competition. She noted that her strongest weapon is to insist on continuing. She concluded by saying: “The more difficult the challenges, the more the achievement has a sweetest taste, and a greater feeling of its value, and this is what makes me stick to my dream more, and I seek to achieve it.”
