This challenge comes within its ambitious journey towards climbing the “seven summits” around the world, after it managed last year to climb the Clemengaru summit, the highest peak in the continent of Africa. With the support of the “Finance House”, one of the most prominent financial institutions in the Emirates, which believes in the importance of empowering the next generation; Fatima faced the challenges of harsh weather and rugged terrain, the UAE flag with pride, to send a message of hope and inspiration to Arab youth, especially the girls.
Fatima gave this achievement to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Federation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, in recognition of their great support for Emirati women and youth and enabling them to achieve their aspirations.

She added: “It is not only about reaching the summits, but by proving that the Emirati and Arab youth, especially girls, have a role in leadership, in adventure, and in making change.”
Fatima also expressed her deep gratitude to her parents, saying: “To my mother, Dr. Amal Al -Qubaisi, I was my memories and the source of my strength … and to my late father, Abd al -Rahman al -Awadi, taught me to walk towards the summit steadily until the touches of the clouds.”
